December 2010 Board Meeting **CANCELLED**

The Board Meeting for December has been cancelled. The monthly board meetings will resume in January. Meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm. Next meeting: January 25th.

The Royal Creek Board Members would like to know how many residents would be interested in creating a Royal Creek Facebook page – how many of you are already on Facebook?

Businesses, local organizations, manufacturers and a myriad of companies use their Facebook page to facilitate quick interaction with their “followers” and have had great success.

You Board believes this would be a great tool to keep the community updated on a most consistent basis (this newsletter is only published about every 2 months) and it will provide you with a platform to voice your opinions, concerns, suggestions or simply just to stay in touch with your neighbors.

National Night Out

As we did last year, our neighborhood party was held at Candlelight Park on August 3rd in conjunction with National Night Out. The Eugene Police and Fire Departments made a grand appearance; Albertson's donated hot dogs; Coca-Cola provided beverages; and Jeremy Stecker with CrossFit coordinated activities for the kids. Many thanks to Gloria Foreman for volunteering her time to coordinate this successful event for our neighborhood.
