The Association held its annual meeting on March 3, 2009. The primary purpose of this meeting was to fill three open Board positions and I'm pleased to announce that Dick Hill and Lawanda Manning were elected to full, three year terms and Janet Snyder was elected to a one year term. Please congratulate them on this outstanding opportunity.
While the Association still has some challenges, I'd like to contrast this year's meeting with last year. Last year we were coming off a very challenging year financially and we had trouble obtaining a quorum to even the hold the meeting. This year between attendees and proxies we had 70 homes represented (well over the 44 minimum for quorum) and we had a surplus at the end of year.
The Association is still looking for volunteers to serve on the Architectural Control, Investment Properties, CC&R, and Communications Committees. Contact me if you're interested in serving on one of them or would just like more information. (Jim-Jenkins@comcast.net)
