Parking Concerns

The Association continues to get complaints and concerns about parking in the neighborhood. However, the Association does not have jurisdiction regarding most parking issues – that jurisdiction rests with the city and violations should be reported to the Eugene Police Department.

With the arrival of summer weather, we are again experiencing the near blockage at the corner of Throne Dr. and Royal Ave by people using the dog park. The Board will again contact the City of Eugene to see if we can negotiate a resolution. One suggestion is to use Welcome Way as the main access route during the warm weather season.

One issue that does fall into the jurisdiction of the Association is parking in a manner that blocks the sidewalk. This is a CC&R and safety issue as pedestrians to walk into the street. This is especially a concern for children. Association members are reminded they are prohibited from parking in a manner that blocks the sidewalk and if you have a concern, please contact a Board member or our Community Manager – Bob Mulkey at 541-791-3262.
